Documentary storytelling for

Eric Pedicelli is a Canadian Filmmaker whose career spans feature documentaries and advocacy campaigns for NGOs like Save the Children  and The The Citizen Lab. He is the Producer, Co-Director, and Cinematographer of My Brother, Soleiman, a CBC Original Documentary investigating the tragic death of Soleiman Faqiri, a man with schizophrenia who died in an Ontario jail. The film follows Yusuf Faqiri’s courageous seven-year fight for justice, which culminates in the stunning verdict of the coroner’s inquest following the release of critical CCTV footage.

Eric received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for editing Black Code, a documentary on digital surveillance and journalism that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and earned acclaim at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival.  He also co-directed, edited, and filmed  Ask No Questions, an investigative look at Chinese state media that premiered at Slamdance and won Best International Documentary at the Phoenix Film Festival.
